The notion behind this is the so-called 'law of attraction' which is basically if you can fantasize about a sports car and make it real enough, then a sports car will turn up on your doorstep.

    That's it!

What stops this Father Christmas philosophy from being merely humorous, however, is that it claims that illnesses such as breast cancer can be cured by 'the secret'. This is not just dangerous, but quite offensive.

There is some sound psychological advice (available elsewhere and in a more sensible context) but the creators of this dvd have taken it and interwoven a great deal of pseudoscience and metaphysical claptrap to make it sell. The comparison with the Da Vinci Code is an accurate one.

The basic good advice from this (to save you wasting money on it) are:

*Be grateful for what you have
    *Think positively
*Live in the present, not in the past
    *Visualize what you want
    *Enjoy life

Certainly following these principles will improve your lot. but they won't make a ferrari appear in front of your house.

For me this dvd was away of thinking and coping with difficult times in your life not making billions of money. While you are concentrating on positive things you are not getting bogged down with the negative things. Doesn't mean I'm going to marry Brad Pitt but focussing on something positive like that will bring me someone positive rather than ending up with a useless bugger because that's what I aimed for and believed I deserved. Physical/scientific aspect of life will not changed but thinking that way can put you in a happy denial rather than miserable negative possibly realistic state. The saying you are young as you feel springs to mind is pretty apt!!!

The dvd is a bit cheesy and long, bit like a work training dvd but it can and has changed so many peoples lifes by them just changing how they think. That can only be a good thing. Give it a shot unless you are happy dealing with realism!

I have been using these kind of techniques ever since I went to see Tony Robbins, but this put it into very easy to understand principles that I use everyday. So much so that I have bought it for loads of family and friends. I should get a discount by now!

If you are going for a job use it with Expert's Guide Interview Skills DVD which is also on Amazon. Both are fantastic. Job Interview Skills - Extended DVD & CD

I wasn't too sure about this the first time I watched it, but the second and third time I began to understand how useful this information was(once you filtered out the 'american hype/ hippy feel to it). I've listened to alot of Bob Proctor and respect him very much. This DVD only just scratches the surface, use it as a beginning point. There was a lot of emphasis on thinking, there should have been at least an equal emphasis on action other wise it's just illusion.
